My name is Ricardo Barros Figueira (nickname: rbfigueira), was born in 1973 and living in Lisbon, Portugal. I am the founder and speaker of the biggest Portuguese Community of .NET Developers – PontoNetPT.

Recognized by Microsoft as MVP Portugal – Must Valuable Professional in the Visual Developer – ASP / ASP.NET from 04/2005 to 04/2007. Interviewed by Microsoft Magazine (No.50) and Exame Informatica (Issue 143). Co-author of the book C# 3.5, released by the publisher FCA in Jan/2009.

Photography

However, one of my hobbies outside of work is photography, and every once in a while I do post to my Mute Street. I truly believe the digital SLR is not only a lot of fun, but also goes a long way in helping one to grow their skills. These days I shoot exclusively in RAW mode.
